Vimeo has been perhaps the strongest competition in the online video hosting world to the giant that is YouTube. With a variety of features that set it apart, as well as a much more supportive community, it provides an ideal platform for many artists, businesses, and documentarians to share their work.
For this campaign I wanted to create something that could easily be used in a variety of digital settings as that is most likely where Vimeo would buy ad space in real application. I focused on my (and many other's) main frustration with YouTube - the proliferation of ads that has happened since its inception. Vimeo functions without any ad interruptions, leading me to express that Vimeo is the platform for 'videos, not ads'. I tried to keep the visuals on this campaign as stripped back and simple as possible in order to demonstrate Vimeo's dedication to not being an interruption from what you want to watch.
